The Client

A supplier of integrated Waste Management and Environmental Services to the South of England. Ace recruitment are currently looking for Sales Professionals and Graduates who are keen to get into a niche market and start a career with a leading family owned waste company. Our client has 3 exciting opportunities within their Sales department; A Graduate Sales Executive, Sales Executive and A Senior Sales Executive.

 

Purpose and Responsibilities – Grad Sales Executive

In this position you will be trained by an experienced Sales Professional with years of experience in the UK Waste and Recycling market. You will initially work on inbound and outbound Sales within our client’s office attending Sales meeting with your mentor until necessary.  Once fully trained you will carry out the following key duties individually.

 

Purpose and Responsibilities – Sales Executive and Senior Sales Executive

 As Sales Executive/Senior Sales Executive you will be responsible for proactively creating and retaining an account base of customers for which our client will provide the best possible waste solutions. You will manage both new and existing accounts from initial sale right through to ensuring service delivery and beyond by securing long term relationships and repeat business from your client base within a competitive market. The role will involve cold calling and making your own appointments to visit clients face to face within your target area. This position will contain elements of both Account Management and New Business with a split of about 30/70.

 

Key Duties

  • Undertake cold calling in order to develop new business, observing any safety-related risks of prospective customers’ sites.
  • Manage a set of accounts and ensure maximisation of sales by offering add -on services.
  • Follow up all sales enquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that customer accounts are maintained and regular courtesy visits are paid.
  • Submit a monthly sales report to the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Resolve account problems by liaising with the transport and accounts departments.
  • Ensure full compliance with Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.

 

Essential Experiences

  • A minimum of 2 years within the Waste Management, Environmental or Industrial Services Sector is Ideal for all roles but essential for the Graduate Sales Executive.
  • Any experience within Sales, Business Development or Account Management will be advantageous.
  • Salary is dependent upon experience; experience will determine which position you will be considered for.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Driving License is Essential
