The Client

A leading Resource Management and Recycling Company based in East Anglia.

Purpose and Responsibilities

Our client is currently looking for a Site Manager to join their team in Suffolk. As MRF Site Manager you will look after all basic Operations on at our clients Materials Recycling Facility. You will be responsible for overseeing all production, maintenance and compliance for core recycling and processing activities including but not limited to the following:

  • Oversee all production & maintenance activities
  • Management of Waste Materials
  • Management of a Waste Processing Environment
  • Movement & Handling Operations
  • Heavy Plant & Machinery
  • Ensure compliance with all Company procedures, including IMS
  • Reporting of incidents and accidents as per company procedure
  • Operate administration systems as applicable to operational needs, including sickness and attendance reports.
  • Liaison with regulatory authorities as required. Continuous site improvement and development and maximisation of recycling rates and processing efficiency.
  •  Ensure that all information is recorded and passed to relevant Management team in a timely fashion and in line with reporting requirements 

Essential Experiences

  • A Minimum of 3 years engineering experience within the Waste Management, Recycling, Construction OR Plant Hire Sector.
  • COTC, WAMITAB, IOSH will be advantageous
  • Ability to effectively manage Site Staff.
  • Poses the ability to problem solves and finds solutions.
  • Confident and ambitious with the ability quickly build rapport.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills.
